i'm just really scared to forget this when i'm old:

this year, at the age of 23, is the year where i had come across the most amount of self-realization and self-discovery. it's the year where i had most difficulties trying to figure out what i want, mostly in terms of career paths and relationships. it's the year of uncertainty, and it's the year of moulding myself into the person that i wanna become, or that i THINK i wanna become, because of course, i'm still uncertain.

it's the year where i try so hard to figure out if i like apples or oranges, if i wanna be a coffee drinker or a social smoker, if i wanna work in a downtown-core yet competitive environment or a friendly-relaxed yet boring environment, if i truly like the colour coral, or am i just in a phase, if i like white guys or asian guys, am i going to marry someone that doesn't speak my mother tongue, and how's that gonna work out in the future?

so many questions and i have the answers to none of the questions above...

I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WANT IN LIFE.

it's the year where i had to make up my mind about so many things because mainly, it's TIME. the year of 23 is the year of life where you make the decision to take a pick, and stick with it. it just might be the most important year of my life, no biggie.

anyone else as horrifyingly lost as i am?

just wanted to write it down so i don't forget 20 years from now, this is where it all begun...

sometimes I think that many of life's pretty things should be enjoyed when we're young.
however, most of these things will cost you lots of $$.
and $$ can only be accumulated by time, which means most of us will be rich when we're older. but ironically, by then, we're not young anymore.

hence, from a mathematical point of view, the amount of $$ one has and one's age have a positive correlation. which means that youth and the ability to enjoy life has a negative correlation.

pretty insightful but a little sad isn't it?

i am very aware that i have to get up in exactly 4 hours and 32 minutes.

but i'm still here with my eyes half open trying to rmb how i felt earlier tonight so i can write those feelings down.

a few things lately:

i just turned 23 years old. and i look back on life, i feel like i haven't done ANYTHING so far in my 23 years. so i've recently had a major revelation, and determined after much thinking that i want to do something that has been wayyy over-said, and it sounds sooo cliche...I WANT TO TRAVEL THE WORLD. i wanna see the world. i want to be someone that has stories. i feel like i'm also running out of time to do this because as a girl you have to think about marriage and family and other procreational activities. hence, i wanna do it as soon as i can. i just don't wanna look back on life, and realize that i haven't done anything. the thought of this realization kills me.
i should become more adventurous. jump on opportunities, laugh more, read more, love like you've never loved before. try new things, find new jobs once every 2 years, learn a new language here and there... life is too short, i really wanna make the most out of it. so from now on, i will not stay in my comfortable box and be a coward. take on life as an adventure everyday. impress yourself everyday. be free, like a bird.
i really want this tattoo that says "traveller" on the back of my neck now...

just came home from dinner @ the new hotspot in town - Spice Route

the food was very very VERY good.
we ordered so much food, TOO much food.

{steak, mussels, pad thai, chao mian, rack of lamb, sweet potato fries, beef sirloin, sorbet, cheesecake, fried banana, and creme brulee. and of course, a bottle of cabernet sauvignon. }

another spectacular night out with my favourite boys & girls.
sighhh...i love spending time with them <3

now i'm just lying in bed, wishing that tomorrow morning would come sooner, so i can make myself a giant cup of morning coffee with my newly purchased toy:

so today i wore a white dress shirt, jeans with a red belt and black gladiator heels. i loved my outfit today. but after i came home and took off my shirt and i almost fainted. i saw the price tag perfectly attached to the inside of the shirt. i was absolutely mortified. the shirt is white and nearly see-through, i wonder if people at work saw it through my shirt on my back. no one told me anything ALLLL day.

这么多年来, 我的CGPA一直在升! 没有降过. 这是让我很欣慰的地方

这个破数字就一位数, 再加俩小数点儿, 让我们这么多年拼死拼活的.

其实发现毕业了以后根本没有人在乎这个破数字

我找工作的时候, 根本没人问我GPA多少, 或者要我的TRANSCRIPT

3. 小心开车

4. 经营博客, 捡起摄影, 多多记录生活.

5. 每次看完一部电影或一本书都要争取写下短短的观后感.

今天是2010年的第一天

下午3点半醒来, 一翻身, 闻到头发上的香味和烟味混在一起的味道

下意识的自我检查一下: 没有HANGOVER的症状. 太好了.

昨晚在clinton家跨年趴踢玩的特别开心

我记得:

1. 大家都喝到恰到好处. 没吐但是都很醉;

2. 我跟tanzie一直亲嘴, 我们抱在一起, 男生们看到很兴奋一直叫我们互相脱对方的衣服;

3. clara走到哪儿都往地上一坐, 最后我们女生就坐一圈儿在clinton家厨房地上抱在一起笑得跟傻子一样;

4. sheldon站着站着就摔倒在地上了;

5. 我站在julian旁边, 跟一堆喝得微醺的人聊天, 突然间他蹲下去肩膀往我肚子上一顶就毫无征兆得把我横空扛起来了. 我吓得吱哇烂叫, 一直想抓住点儿什么可是什么都抓不住. 最后在clinton笑着跟julian说赶紧把她放下来才把我放下来;

6. laurent把我和tanzie逗得躺在地上笑得起不来, 那应该是昨晚最好笑的一刻, 我当时真的以为我要死在地上了, 我和tanzie一直恳求laurent不要再说了越求他他就越是要逗我们, 最后我们俩就在眼泪中搀扶着对方走出了clinton的地下室坐在楼梯上喘气

7. 最后在大家回家之前醒酒之余, 我们一起看了 BRUNO. 这部电影跟trailer介绍的一点都不一样. it is the most penis u will ever see.

新的一年里, 我要戒掉咖啡. 改喝茶.

本来胃就不好, 就不应该天天喝咖啡, 不能再不注意自己的身体了. this is the least i can do.

还有就是, 我要去探索, 去发现, to find out what i really like.

which means, no more stereotyping. give things a chance. live life.

最后就是, 我希望我能再次拿起我的相机, 去记录生活, 记录青春.

大学最后一天.

今天是我大学生涯最后一门期末考.

考完了也就意味着我的大学生涯真真正正彻彻底底干干净净圆圆满满的结束了.

现在考完了

我心里嗷嗷儿伤感.

无尽的舍不得.

从此以后我再也不用学习了!

再也不用熬夜复习考试了

再也不用抻筋般的赶论文了

考完试我们全班加上老师和TA一起去韩国饭店吃散伙饭

大家都很舍不得这个暑假即将要结束了

每天上课班上总是充满了欢笑

老师和TA人好的没的说

本来大家私底下串通好这顿要请教授和TA的

结果去买单的时候老板说已经有人买过了

我们就傻了...

唉老师!!! 你能不这样吗!~

我们老师太好了

她是我整个大学4年有过最好的老师

拍照的时候总是不敢照一些稍微严重点儿的事物

例如:女性友人穿内衣时的裸背等等

因为每次去洗照片的时候都会跟那儿的工作人员有交集

他必然也能看见你一整个交卷的每一张照片

所以每次回去取洗好的交卷的时候

都感觉被别人"看透"了似的心里微不舒服.

无论早晨中午还是晚上天空的颜色都是最美的

有段日子时间颠倒凌晨5点睡醒了

今天我和刘小mos去吃了我们最爱的寿司自助 [百花]

最激动的时刻就是类似以下情形: "小姐, 鳗鱼寿司....12个..." 5分钟之后 "小姐鳗鱼寿司 12个...."

真的太~~~~~~~~好.吃.了. 一切都很新鲜很美味. 每次去都不失望.

所以暂时没有中文书看先在amazon.ca上买了几本英文的凑合着看

推荐:

写的比shopaholic还好的一本正宗chick lit. 好看好看.

精彩得我都坐过站了.

现在就想看它的续集了.

我现在每个礼拜只有那么一天能睡到自然醒

开始特别怀念以前的暑假不用上课不用上班

那时候天天能睡到自然醒睁眼睛了一定是12点以后先给mos打个电话问她醒了吗

只有两个答案:

1. [........嗯....] - 说明没醒

2.[当然醒了啊!] - 说明还是没醒

周一到周四要去DT上课每天早上7点闹钟响的时候我都有种想哭的冲动

问自己我为什么要这么辛苦

然后就想到了以下几点让我起床的原因:

1. 充满阳光的sidney smith教室

2. 可爱的韩语TA Kim oppa

3. DT的校园在早上是异常的美丽

4. 我热爱学习韩语

这都是我每天的精神支柱.

地铁是另外一种世界.

每个人的眼神都没有焦点, 脚下都加快了速度.

即使你不在赶时间, 但身边的人全部都在飞快地行走, 你不得不假装你也很忙.

现在每天就是期望着在当当订购的书快点到!!

因为海外信用卡似乎有spending limit

所以前前后后的下了能有5个订单...

昨天下班回家一进房间, 就得到了一个惊喜

原本还在纸箱子里的IKEA书柜已经安装好了高高的立在房间里一个很完美的角落

安装家具还真不是女生干的活儿.

待会儿我就把我的书/DVD都摆上去让它满满的

以后自己有家了一定要把整面墙都弄成一个大书架.

然后争取在40岁的时候把它填满.

人长大了越来越安静话少了更喜欢独处喜欢阅读喜欢看DVD 音乐都很少听.

我们是不是已经变成自己13 4岁的时候鄙视的那种 NO LIFE 的大人了

不知道最近流行什么音乐在地铁上不是听iPOD而是读书买衣服只买单一色无花纹的

很少再买各式各样的耳环朋友找去clubbing也全部推掉只想在家看FRIENDS

so, I really wonder if we're considered as LOSERS in teenagers' eyes nowadays.

但是我觉得这样活着特别舒服很惬意没有DRAMA 没有压力
其实就是一个退休老人的生活嘛哈哈

年少.已不在.

为什么我在被误会的时候是这么不愿意为自己解释呢.

我想这是一个会坚持下去的开始.

周末搬了家. 虽然很小但特别喜欢这个新家.

所以也决定把博客从MSN SPACE搬到这儿.

因为我们都爱GOOGLE LAB研制出来的东西. 哈~~~

以前特别喜欢写博客总是很有效率的把自己的那点儿小矫情心理变成文字 .

之后不记得从什么时候开始就突然写不出来了好像失去语言能力了一般. 有一天我告诉自己: [我失去灵感了]. 我写不出.

人没有激情很可怕.

不怎么愿意接电话, 有missed call也不回, 话特别少, 很少上MSN. 唯一上的时候只跟那么指定的几个人偷偷聊天. 朋友约出去趴踢也尽量不去就不去. 有时候我就想, 我在躲着谁?

自己告诉自己, [这样不行].

所以我要认真的活着努力活着我想坚持写博客坚持摄影

这是一个新的开始, 一个希望自己能坚持下去的开始.

虽然生活中很多值得写的东西其实很渺小

但有时候有些话需要写给自己.

life is good.
